Design your tourist experience contest: how to participate and win up to 5,000 soles?

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) has launched a contest aimed at official tourism guides. The contest is called Design your tourist experience and seeks to benefit 6,000 guides with a prize of 5,000 soles for each one. This new economic reactivation measure was approved through Ministerial Resolution no. 186-2021-MINCETUR and its deadline is November 28.

What is Design your tourist experience?

It is a public contest that has the objective of encouraging the intervention of tourist guides through plans whose axis is a tourist experience that provides value in the field and allows an economic reactivation of the activity. The proposals must articulate a joint work between the three levels of government and the private sector.

Until when can I participate in the contest organized by Mincetur 2021?

Contestant registration began on November 14 and is scheduled until 11:59 pm on November 28.

What are the requirements to participate in the contest?

• Be registered in the National Directory of Qualified Tourism Service Providers of the Mincetur.
• In the case of official tourist guides, a copy of the valid license issued by the competent body
• In the case of Tourism graduates, a copy of the Card issued by Colitur
• DAYS
• RUC active and there have been.

Useful information for participating tour guides

Some of the impediments to applying for selection are the following:

• People who are related up to the fourth degree of consanguinity or second degree of affinity, by reason of marriage, de facto union or coexistence, in accordance with the current norm, with whom by reason of their functions they have direct interference with the public contest.
• People who are related up to the fourth degree of consanguinity or second degree of affinity with the public servants of the Mincetur and its deconcentrated body National COPESCO Plan, as well as its attached agencies PROMPERÚ and CENFOTUR.
• People who are in the list of suppliers sanctioned by the State Procurement Court.
• Be a public servant in accordance with current regulations or provide services to the State under any contracting modality at present.
• Be in the REDAM registry (Registry of Debtors Food Defaulters).
• People with a police, judicial or criminal record.
