Leasing Bond: 84 subsidies for victims in Lambayeque districts are approved

The towns of Illimo and Chongoyape will benefit from economic monthly subsidies of S/500.

Through ministerial resolutions No. 176-2023-VIVIENDA and No. 178-2023-VIVIENDA, the Ministry of Housing Construction and Sanitation(MVCS) approved the eighteenth and nineteenth call of the year 2023 for the granting of 84 new installments of the Housing Lease Bond for Emergencies (BAE).

This is aimed at families affected with collapsed or uninhabitable homes as a result of intense rainfall in the north of the country. In detail, they will be delivered 70 bonds in the Illimo district and 14 in Chongoyape, both places are located in the Lambayeque region.

How much is the Leasing Bonus?

The value of the BAE is S/500.00 and will be granted monthly for a maximum period of two years for those affected in the Illimo and Chongoyape districts.

The list of beneficiaries will be published the day after the issuance of these regulations on the web pages of the MVCS and the MiVivienda Fund, as well as in the District Municipality of Illimo and the District Municipality of Chongoyape, and the Citizen Service Center of Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation at its Lambayeque headquarters.

What are the deadlines for granting the bonus?

The beneficiary families have a maximum period of 10 business days to present the respective documents with the signature of the representative of the family group. The requirements are the following:

  • The application for granting the BAE.
  • The sworn declaration of not having housing other than the collapsed or uninhabitable one.
  • The rental contract of the house, signed with the landlord of the same, with signatures legalized before the justice of the peace or notary public.
  • If applicable, the sworn statement of the signatories of the aforementioned contract declaring the economic impediment for the legalization of signatures.
