Lima Stock Market closes with losses and falls 0.12% this Thursday, April 20

The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) The session of this Thursday, April 20, 2023, closed in negative territory. This result was driven by the poor performance of the mining sector. Thus, he noted down 11 indicators, 2 up and 3 flat.

Thus, the S&P/BVL Peru General index, the most representative of the Lima stock market, fell 0.12% to 22,473.41 points. Meanwhile, the S&P/BVL Peru Selective index, which is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, lost -0.20% and stood at 578.09 units.

The mining sector was the one that reported the most losses in the day with a fall of -0.63%, followed by financial (-0.46%) and industrial (-0.45%). On the other hand, only consumption (0.41%) was the only item that presented gains. Services, electricity and construction showed no variation.

The shares that fell the most in the index were PPX (-13.64%), POMALCC1 (-9.09%) and TEF (-2.68%). On the other hand, the ones that increased the most were UNITEXI1 (12.24%), CREDITC1 (6.34%) and BROCALC1 (5.77%).
