Official event of an alliance between CNT and Amazon was held at the JW Marriot hotel and attended by Ralph Suástegui, General Director of CNT; Vianna Maino, Minister of Telecommunications and Information Society; Ricardo Caballero, General Manager Colombia-Ecuador of TD Synnex; Juan Pablo Rincón, manager of the Andean Region of AWS, among other national authorities.
During the launch event, it was announced that this commercial agreement will enable CNT to continue providing quality services to its clients, as companies will be able to reduce their costs, have greater efficiency, flexibility, security, affordability and innovation. It was explained that cloud services allow operations to be scaled more efficiently, which means they can meet demand faster and without the need to invest in additional resources, continue to provide the quality service that employees and all Ecuadorians deserve.
“The goal of continuing to connect lives still exists. Through this type of alliance, the goal of closing digital gaps is fulfilled,” Suástegui assured. He also believed that being able to count on Amazon’s trust would allow the state-owned telephone company to positively change the lives of millions of Ecuadorians.
