The three Grupo 5 concerts held at the San Marcos Stadium raised at the level of beverages and food S/2 million 506,287, according to National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat).
The State institution inspected and carried out, together with a team of up to 24 inspecting notaries per day, the Comprehensive Verification of Compliance with Tax Obligations (Vicot) operations, which allow verifying the correct registration to the RUC and the issuance of payment vouchers for the 29 establishments belonging to two concessionaires.
This type of intervention is carried out in all concerts that are carried out in Peru in order to validate the income declared by each of the verified taxpayers.
So far this year, controls have been carried out on the presentations of Grupo 5 (who performed three concerts), the singer Romeo Santos (one concert) and also the well-known DJ Calvin Harris (one concert), with which income was detected for sales of food, beverages and merchandising in excess of S/3.2 million.
Finally, the Sunat reminds users that it is important that attendees of mass shows always request proof of payment when purchasing a product. This in order to guarantee that companies declare all the income obtained and pay the taxes that correspond to them.
