The constitution of a “Basque employment network” led by Lanbide, and also made up of provincial councils, municipalities and collaborating private entities, is one of the planned actions, which the Basque Government hopes to have approved before the end of the year.

The Basque Government aspires with the first Basque Employment Lawwhose legislative project approved this Tuesday, to “order” the field of employment, in which some 300 agents operate in the Basque Country, through a network that includes them and shares information and a common base of offers Of jobs.

The constitution of a “Basque employment network” led by the basque employment service Lanbideand also made up of provincial councils, municipalities and collaborating private entities, is one of the actions foreseen by the Executive in the new law, which it hopes will have approved before the end of the year after the corresponding parliamentary procedure.

The new Basque employment network, which is contemplated without legal personality, will be made up of agents such as public and private institutionseconomic representatives, social agents, training centers and universities, and will propose a single window electronic and a single window by territorial headquarters, through which the user can access job offers.

Besides, Lanbide it will become a public entity under private law, regulated by a program contract with the Basque Government valid for four years. The objective of the change is to provide the entity with greater agility in certain procedures and actions while maintaining its control by the Administration.

10-Basque Council for Public Employment Policies:
