For this reason, the Government decided to grant the Drought Bonus, officially known as Recover Now. Since January 30, 2023, more than 200,000 farmersproducers and ranchers —who were affected by the absence of rain in 17 regions of Peru—began to collect this subsidy that will soon expire in a few days. This subsidy is also intended for the group of workers dedicated to raising alpacas, with S/266 per head and up to a maximum of 12.

Drought Bond 2023: what are the amounts?

• For farmers: a bonus of S/800 per hectare corresponds to a maximum of four, that is, S/3,200.
• For alpaca producers: You are entitled to a bonus of S/266 per alpaca head up to a limit of 12, that is, S/3,192.

Drought Bonus 2023: what are the requirements to receive the subsidy?

• drive units farms of up to four hectares or conduct activities breeding livestock with up to 12 heads of alpaca.
• Be registered until December 13, 2022 in the Register of Agricultural Producers (PPA).
• Drive livestock activities of breeding greater than one and up to 12 heads of alpaca.

Midagri published a schedule for the beneficiary to charge according to the last digit of his National identity document.
