44% of the people who will declare income this 2023 are women, according to Sunat

Of the 600,000 natural persons who can already present their 2022 income statement through a cell phone or the Sunat website, about 44% are women, which confirms the important participation they have in the national economy by promoting not only commercial activitiesbut the formalization by fulfilling their tax and customs responsibilities.

To commemorate International Women’s Day, the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) reported that around 264,000 female taxpayers would make use of the digital services offered, presenting their 2022 income statement from their cell phone or through the specialized portal https://renta.sunat.gob.pe/.

Return, payment or installment

In the event that a balance is determined in favor of Income Tax, taxpayers may register or update, at that very moment, the Interbank Account Code (CCI) so that Sunat deposits the refund directly into your bank account.

If, on the contrary, they have an Income Tax balance to regularize, they can pay it with any credit, debit card or even Yape, among other options. Likewise, they can request at that time the deferral (up to six months) or fractionation (up to 72 installments) of the amount.

It is recommended not to wait for the start of the expiration schedule, which runs from March 24 to April 11, 2023, and to go ahead in complying with the presentation of the declaration.

To obtain more information about the 2022 income statement, taxpayers can contact the telephone consultation center at 0-801-12-100 or 315-0730 and visit the portal https://renta.sunat.gob.pe, where they will find guidance and assistance without having to leave home.
