In the case of municipal managers, the amount is between S/2,500 and S/12,700 per month, according to the norm published today by the MEF
ANDl Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) approved this Thursday, March 2 the amounts for economic compensation under the regime of Law No. 30057, Civil Service Law, for general managers of regional governments and municipal managers.
In accordance with Supreme Decree No. 029-2023-EF published in El Peruano, the general managers of the regional governments, as well as the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, will receive a monthly salary of S/14,000. While in the case of municipal managers the amount is between S/2,500 and S/12,700 per month (See table).
The legal provision also specifies that economic compensation is paid twelve times a year, plus two times for Christmas bonuses, one for National Holidays and one for Christmas.
Likewise, it indicates that the General Directorate of Fiscal Management of Human Resources of the Ministry of Economy and Finance proceeds ex officio to the registration of economic compensation in the Computer Application for the Centralized Registration of Forms and Data of Human Resources of the Public Sector ( AIRHSP).
Finally, it is specified that exceptionally for this Fiscal Year, what is established in this Supreme Decree is financed from the resources authorized in numeral 3.4 of article 3 of Emergency Decree No. 002-2023, for the entities prioritized in the numeral 3.2 of article 3 of said emergency decree.
