The Executive established -through an emergency decree- the delivery of an extraordinary bonus of S / 210 for the only time in favor of formal workers in the public and private sector with salaries of up to S / 2,000.
As La República announced, this measure is in line with what was announced a few weeks ago by the president of the Council of Ministers, Mirtha Vásquez, and reaffirmed by President Pedro Castillo, to grant a bonus of S / 70 for three months, but the payment will be in a single batch.
“Due to international conjunctural issues and the effects of COVID-19, the ability of lower-income workers has been affected. The Government considered providing this monetary support in a single payment of S / 210 (combining the monthly payments of S / 70 that it was projected to make in 3 consecutive months). Therefore, a single payment is advanced and made to cover the increase in the cost of the basket of workers with the lowest relative remuneration, for a period of 3 months ”, explained the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).
The measure will benefit more than 3 million formal workers in the private sector and 250,000 in the public sector, and will take effect in November for state workers and as of December for those in the private sector, the Labor Ministry reported.
Requirements
In the case of the private sector, to access the bonus you must work and be registered in the electronic payroll of an employer in July, August or September 2021. And not belong to the labor training modalities or be a pensioner.
While for the public sector, it is required to have a link in the month of October 2021. And the servers of the national government and regional governments must be registered in the computer application for the centralized registry of payroll and data of human resources of the public sector (AIRHSP).
