Thus, according to the minister, Maintenance of the infrastructure of 17,850 irrigation systems in 23 departments will be carried out, with a total length of 63,784 kilometers of cleaning of canals, drains and micro-reservoirs.. Business Plans for Farmers
Paredes explained that one of the driving actions of small producers is the financing of 1,086 business plans for S/207.7 million to finance enterprises of producers, that consider productive reconversion and, above all, the empowerment of rural and indigenous women at the national level.
He also pointed out that S / 49 million has been allocated to the Fund for the Financial Inclusion of Small Agricultural Producers (FIFPPA) to make loans cheaper for farmers. Likewise, Midagri will have S/2.5 million to issue binding environmental opinions to expedite processes and have greater capacities to shorten waiting periods.
Market empowerment
Finally, regarding the strengthening safety and quality standards to promote agricultural competitiveness, Paredes reported that an investment of S/21.4 million has been allocated. This will contribute to improving avian flu controls, as well as the optimization of agri-food safety processes, seeds, organic production and agricultural inputs.
In addition, 640 itinerant markets will be promoted De la Chacra a la Olla to benefit small family farming producers who, in an organized manner, can obtain new business opportunities, promote ventures, encourage associativity and access to better services.
