Viva Air: Sky offers free transfers on the Lima-Cusco route for affected passengers

Travelers just need to present their boarding pass to receive a new Sky ticket.

Sky has reported that it will serve the passengers of the airline Viva Air after, through a statement, the Colombian company announced the cessation of its operations indefinitely until it can resolve its financial problems.

According to the airline’s position, everything will depend on Civil Aeronautics to allow it to be part of the group of airlines that make up this category in order to function properly. After the internal and financial crisis, the Colombian company has been presenting the records of its economic problems to the Government of Gustavo Petro in order to support its request for support.

Meanwhile, travelers from Viva Air with flights scheduled between Tuesday, February 28 and Thursday, March 2, of the Lima-Cusco, Cusco-Lima routes, will be able to access the Protection Plan that has been enabled for them. This is how they will start their trips on Sky flights where there are seats available.

To carry out this procedure, those affected must go to the service counters at the Lima and Cusco airports, present your boarding pass or ticket with Viva Air reservation code for flights on the dates indicated. After the validation of the documents, they will be given their new Sky boarding pass to finalize their flight.
