Private sector employers reported 1,056 cases in 2022 to the Workplace Sexual Harassment Case Registry Platform of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE), that is, 268 more than in 2021. In this sense, he stressed that a fundamental tool to advance in this public policy is to have a specialized service called “Work without harassment”, through which MTPE specialists provide guidance, legal and psychological assistance for all workers in the private sector who require it.

However, Adrianzén Ojeda pointed out that the challenge for the MTPE is still very great, as is its commitment. “The 2023 campaign, within the framework of the Day to Combat Sexual Harassment in the Workplace called: ‘Let’s Stop Harassment’, is a call to reduce the numbers of people affected by these acts. According to the International Labor Organization, it affects one in five people in the world. ended.
