European funds plan to protect more than 90,000 people in the Basque Country
The money will be used, among other actions, for the labor inclusion of people with disabilities and those who live at risk of poverty. For this, Euskadi will have 197 million euros.

The Basque Government, the Ministry of Labor and representatives of the European Commission presented this Wednesday the European Social Fund Plusa fund that plans to serve more than 90,000 people with performances that exceed 197 million euros. 79 of them will be provided by the European Union. This is a 7 year plan.
The money will be used, among other actions, for the labor inclusion of the People with disabilities and those who live in poverty risk.
The Minister of Economy and Finance, Pedro Azpiazu At a press conference, he valued the importance of this program and its contribution to the “inclusive growth of the Basque Country, the modernization of the labor market” and the protection of the most vulnerable people.
Likewise, he pointed out that this fund focuses particularly on two “inseparable” aspects: employment and social inclusion.
