The salaries of personnel working in the public sector of the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV) will rise this 2023 2.5%as agreed today by the Basque Government.
The rise has been announced by the Executive spokesman, Bingen Zupiria, at the usual press conference after the government council.
The increase will apply both to the civil service and to the staff of companies, organizations or public foundations.
As the spokesman recalled, this increase was included in the Basque budgets for 2023 and emanates from the one announced last year by the Sánchez executive for all Public Functions of the Spanish State.
It should be remembered that this increase did not have the support of the unions at the negotiating table, considering it “insufficient” given the increase in the CPI.
