Lenin Checco Chauca appointed as head of the Minem’s advisory cabinet

The Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem) appointed Lenin Abraham Checco Chauca as chief of staff of advisers of the Minem. Through ministerial resolution published in El Peruano, this designation was made official since the position was vacant.

Through Ministerial Resolution Nº 410-2021-MINEM / DM, endorsed by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Eduardo González Toro, Checco Chauca will occupy the position of chief of staff of advisers of Minem, which is a position of trust according to the resolution itself.

Lenin Checco Chauca was congressman by the Frente Amplio political party in the period from March 2020 to July 2021, according to the website of the Congress of the Republic. Likewise, at the beginning of October he was appointed as advisor II of the Headquarters of the National Fund for Fisheries Development (Fondepes) of the Ministry of Production. It is attorney by profession from the Technological University of the Andes and completed an unfinished master’s degree in Public Management at the Cesar Vallejo University.

In the workplace, he was director of human resources for the Cotabambas Health Network (Apurimac) in 2015. In addition, he has served as a part-time teacher at the National University Micaela Bastidas de Apurimac, in 2016.
