With the aim of promoting formal employment in Lima and Pachacamac, the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) held the II Pachacamac Virtual Labor Fair, where more than 600 vacancies from 25 formal companies in Lima and Pachacamac were offered.
The event was opened by the Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Betssy Chávez Chino, and the Mayor of Pachacamac, Elvis Pomes Cano. In addition, prior to the exposure of job vacancies, virtual job training was given to participants by members of the MTPE and invited those interested to constantly visit the entity’s social networks to find out about new formal job offers.

Minister Chávez Chino indicated that this type of virtual event encourages employment, especially among the youngest. “Despite the pandemic situation, we watch over the fundamental rights and the rights of the workers. We have to use all digital tools so that more people can access decent and productive work with equal opportunities for all Peruvians, “he said.
The activity was carried out in collaboration with the MTPE together with the District Municipality of Pachacamac for the general public. Places were offered for commercial agents, telemarketers, kitchen assistants, logistics assistants, sales executives, among others.

Likewise, the mayor of Pachacamac, Elvis Pomes Cano, thanked the MTPE for its support for promoting formal work in his district through these types of virtual initiatives. The activity was transmitted on the Facebook platform of said portfolio and through the Zoom platform. Likewise, the entity announced that those who require new personnel can contact the employment center’s business outreach service free of charge through the web platform of the Ministry of Labor.
