Along these lines, the official also indicated that his portfolio hasand planned Program of Social investment which will generate more than 5,000 jobs in urban and rural areas, for the construction of social infrastructure such as bridges, sidewalks, educational institutions, cradles, river defenses, sanitation, health posts and maintenance of water systems, in a period of 11 months.
Minister Demartini also remarked that Midis is working on the implementation of the Agenda 2030in order to meet its objectives for the well-being of all Peruvians, without leaving anyone behind.
On the other hand, the Midis authority stressed that the program Foncodes, through its Haku Wiñay / Noa Jayatai project, develops productive capacities in families in rural Andean and Amazonian communities to increase and diversify their autonomous income. In this context, from 2012 to December 2022, 359,842 households have benefited, and for this year 2023 it is projected to benefit more than 65,000 rural households.
He also added that Foncodes has a new line of intervention in the urban area “Mi Emprendimiento Mujer”, with the aim of improving the economic situation of 800 women associated with Comedores Populares and Ollas Comunes, through the development of their technical-productive capacities and the endowment of assets that allows it to develop sustainable ventures. It is planned to expand this intervention to serve 1,000 additional women, who have been supporting the food care of the most vulnerable population in solidarity.
