Own Roof Bonus 2023: what are the requirements to access this subsidy?

He Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) expects to grant this year 30,471 bonds to low-income families who intend to purchase or build a home through the Own Roof Program. This financial support is called Family Housing Bonus (BHF). If you are interested in accessing this subsidy, check what the requirements are.

Likewise, it is necessary to indicate that the amounts to be granted by the Government to those who qualify for this bonus Own Roof Program are subject to what the applicant requires, so that:

• To buy a home: S/43,312.50
• To build a house: S/29,700
• To improve a home, the bonus is S/11,385

The designation of these figures is due to the increase that the Tax unit (ITU) that from S/4,600, in 2022, rose to S/4,950 for this year.

What are the requirements to access this subsidy?

In case you apply to Housing Family Bonus in the New Home Acquisition (AVN) modality:

• Have a monthly family income of no more than S/3,715.
• Form a family group (take care of at least one relative as a son or brother).
• Not be the owner of a home or land at the national level or have received previous housing support from the State.
• Have a minimum savings, which is equivalent to 0.3% of the value of the home you are going to acquire.

If you are going to apply for Housing Family Bonus In the On-Site Construction (CSP) modality, the requirements are:

• Have a monthly family income of no more than S/2,706.
• Form a family group.
• Have a piece of land or independent land duly registered in public records, without liens or encumbrances.
• Not be the owner of another home or land nationwide or have received prior housing support from the State.
• Have a minimum savings amount equivalent to 0.023% of the current UIT (S/113.85), valid only until December 31, 2023.
