Petroperú is authorized to borrow up to US$22 million

Indebtedness will not have the guarantee of the national Government and will be executed under the modality of letter of guarantee. Operation is required for the signing of the contract in Block 192.

Through Ministerial Resolution No. 041-2023-EF/52, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) I authorize Petroperu arrange a debt transaction up to the sum of US$22 million without the guarantee of the National Government. In addition, this may be in the form of a letter of guarantee and for a period of validity of one year and 45 days.

This operation is carried out at the request of Petroperú before the next signing of the license contract in Block 192. It should be noted that the validity period is renewable for up to 12 years.

The provision has the signature of the head of the MEF, Alex Contreras Miranda, and the favorable opinion of the General Directorate of the Public Treasury and the General Office of Legal Advice of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
