This subsidy is aimed at all artistic and cultural workers registered in Rentoca who were financially affected due to the pandemic.
The Minister of Culture, leslie urteagaindicated that art and culture workers will be able to collect the S/820 bonus from the second half of February as long as they are duly registered in the National Registry of Art and Culture Workers (Rentoca) until December 31, 202, in addition to receiving income of less than two minimum wages, which stands at S/1,025 per month.
“We have foreseen and have coordinated from the first day with the Ministry of Economy and Finance so that within the Punche Peru plan there is a one-time allowance and exclusively in this crisis situation”, he explained on Radio Nacional.
As far as was known, there would be around 3,000 beneficiaries of this subsidy; However, the registry remains open at the national level in a digital way to provide future benefits, since the aforementioned body of the Ministry of Culture reinforces its public policies.
He also pointed out that in each region there are Decentralized Departments of Culture (DDC) and that with the help of trained personnel they will be able to register in person. Next, he also indicated where those residing in the capital can go.
