Cabify announced 20% discounts to mobilize voters during the February 5 elections

The Cabify mobility application announced that it will offer discounts on its apps to encourage Ecuadorians to vote in the elections on Sunday, February 5, when 5,667 new dignitaries will be chosen throughout the country.

The discount, which will be applied through discount codes, will be valid in Quito and Guayaquil, cities where Cabify operates, according to Manuel Torres, country manager from Colombia & Ecuador in Cabify.

“At Cabify we have the purpose of making our cities better places to live. For this reason, we launched this initiative that seeks to mobilize Ecuadorians in a safe, sustainable manner and at a comfortable price during the election day of February 5,” said the executive.

The discount code can be found in the apps of the firm as Votaec and will be valid for two trips with 20% (up to $1 per trip) with Cabify in all its categories; it will be available only on Election Day, while supplies last. The application had already offered this type of discount in other events, such as the final of the Copa Libertadores that took place in Guayaquil in 2022.

To access the code, Torres explained that the Cabify application must be opened or downloaded, press the upper left tab, select the “Discount Code” option and enter the Votaec code. (YO)
