Volkswagen Navarra will suspend production next Friday, January 27, due to a lack of parts. Specifically, due to the lack of airbag control unitas the management of the company has transferred to the works council.

“We continue dragging the same MIB supply problems for the polo and taigo during this week and the next, which will cause incomplete cars to be produced. To this is added the gear lever, so we will be riding Audi levers for a week. But what leads us not to produce next Friday is the lack of an airbag control unit for one day, which, although it has been considered to assemble cars without it, has been ruled out due to the painful conditions of its subsequent recovery”, union sources have explained to Europe Press.

As EFE has been told by company sources, this day will be considered an industrial day, so for the moment the application of the ERTE will not be necessary.

On the other hand, the planned activity in the three shifts is maintained during the rest of the days of the week.
