Indecopi issued a precautionary measure so that the company Fans & Music Entertainment SAC —responsible for the concert of Juan Luis Guerra in Lima—return the money to the people who were affected after the cancellation of the recital.
On November 22, several users were unable to enter Juan Luis Guerra’s first concert, since the capacity of the local Arena Perú was at its limit; and the following day, the District Municipality of Santiago de Surco decided to close the premises.
In this sense, the Consumer Protection Commission No. 3 initiated an administrative sanction procedure against the company Fans & Music Entertainment SAC for alleged violation of the Consumer Protection Code.
What’s next now?
The company has five business days to publish on its social networks and web portal the details for the return of the money paid by customers who could not enjoy the concert on the first date.
They must also specify if the second concert by Juan Luis Guerra will be held on another date or will be canceled completely.
Fans & Music Entertainment SAC has until February 8 of this year to comply with the return of the money.
