Works on the new Jorge Chávez Airport terminal begin in December

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), the first stone of the new passenger terminal at Jorge Chávez International Airport will be laid in the second week of next December.

The construction of this second passenger terminal is part of the modernization and expansion project of the Jorge Chávez International Airport what is going on MTC.

In this way, the works, in which US $ 700 million will be invested, will generate the creation of 3,500 jobs.

Meanwhile, the MTC reported that the new infrastructure will be three times larger than the current airport passenger terminal. This will allow to provide a more optimal service to travelers.

In addition, the expansion works of the country’s main airport contribute to reactivate the Peruvian economy after the impact of Covid-19.
