Mivivienda Verde Bonus: there are more than 35,000 properties that have a subsidy of up to S/31,100

At the end of 2022, the Green Mivivienda Bonus it achieved its record number and delivered this subsidy to a total of 8,038 citizens who bought a sustainable property with the New Mivivienda Credit. In this way, last year the largest number of subsidies granted since the creation of the aforementioned economic contribution was achieved.

In order for this bond to be delivered, the Mivivienda Fund (FMV), an entity attached to the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS); made a disbursement of S/42 million 615,000, the highest amount that has been made in a year. It is worth noting that, in 2021, this subsidy was provided to 7,730 people; in 2020, to 5,163; and in 2019, to 5,937.

In 2022, the highest number was recorded in July, in which 1,210 of these subsidies were awarded. And the best quarter was the third, since in July, August and September the number of these subsidies amounted to 2,775.

How much is the Mivivienda Verde Bonus?

The Mivivienda Verde Bond ranges between S/16,200 and S/31,100, depending on the price of the property to be acquired through the New Mivivienda Credit, which must belong to a real estate project certified as sustainable by the FMV.

One point to keep in mind is that this benefit is aimed at people of average income who have a good credit history.

Eco-friendly properties allow you to save on water and electricity consumption, as they have efficient taps and toilets, as well as LED lighting. In addition, they have a lower impact on the environment.

Currently, there are more than 35,500 houses or apartments of this type that can be bought with this State contribution in the following regions of the country: LimeCallao, Piura, Lambayeque, La Libertad, Ica, Arequipa, Tacna, Junín, Cusco, Puno and San Martín; the same ones that are part of 330 projects that have been certified as sustainable by the FMV.
