The public company clarified that these values may vary at each service station. These prices represent a drop of 17 cents for the super 95, which had a suggested price of $4.15, and 20 cents for the ecoplus 89, which was $3.28 in December.
The public company also ensures that the Government maintains its commitment to improve fuels, which is why during 2022 it incorporated these higher octane gasolines into the Ecuadorian market.
About the topic, Oswaldo Erazo, president of the Chamber of Distributors of Petroleum Derivatives (Camddepe), explained that there has indeed been a price reduction of gasoline in the terminal of 17 cents, which also translates into a drop in the price reported by Petroecuador.
