Reybanpac issued $ 20 million in the stock market

Pacific Banana King (Reybanpac), a company in the country’s banana sector, carried out its third commercial paper issuance for $ 20 million through the Guayaquil Stock Exchange (BVG) and Picaval Casa de Valores (placement and structuring) with a AAA risk rating from BankWatch Ratings del Ecuador SA

With these funds, Reybanpac announced that it will finance its working capital including payments to suppliers, financing of exports, among others. Reybanpac’s growth occurs at a time when there is a sustained rise in raw materials and costs related to exports, which requires strengthening liquidity to facilitate its expansion strategy.

“We have been in the stock market for eight years and we have managed to strengthen our name as a responsible, communicative issuer that honors its obligations,” he said.
