The Bank of the Nation (BN) reported that, from this Monday, January 9, the payment of pensions to retirees will begin under Law 19990 of the Pension Standardization Office (ONP).
In this way, the payment in the bank accounts of the Banco de la Nación will be made in a staggered manner, according to the alphabetical order of the first letter of the paternal surname. Those interested can be guided by the following schedule:
- Letters A – C: Monday, January 9
- Letters D – L: Tuesday January 10
- Letters M – Q: Wednesday January 11
- Letters R – Z: Thursday January 12
It should be noted that pension payments at home, a benefit for exporters with problems traveling or collecting their pensions in person, will be made between January 14 and 23.
Banco de la Nación: alternative service channels
The Banco de la Nación recommends using the more than 1,000 ATMs and more than 14,000 MultiRed agents, distributed throughout the country, to collect pensions, and thus avoid going to the bank’s windows.
In the same way, the institution reminds exporters to protect the debit card’s secret password, since it is for personal use.
The Banco de la Nación calls on pensioners, clients and users to comply with the sanitary measures ordered by the government, and recommends continuing to wear masks in closed places, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
