Municipality of Guayaquil starts plan to reforest

This space, where company collaborators were involved, was transferred to Pronaca for its management and care in 2017, complying with the environmental regulations in force that year. Pronaca is part of a plan by the council to reforest 9.18 hectares, which in addition to Bosqueira includes the ParaĆso forest and other private companies.

Likewise, cultural and forestry work was carried out in order to control competition to the planted trees, complement their requirements and protect the reforestation from external risks, especially fires in the dry season.

Meanwhile, during the signing of the official handover certificate to the municipal authorities, the company’s environment team shared the actions carried out in that space.

“Pronaca is a family that exists to Feed Well, we work efficiently, humanely and sustainably, in this way caring for the environment is one of the pillars on which PRONACA bases its actions,” the company said in a statement.
