Government will allocate S/491 million to accelerate the massification of natural gas

The head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Alex Contrerasannounced on the morning of this Thursday the 29th that, as part of the plan With Punche Peruthe Government will allocate S / 491 million for the massification of natural gas next year.

“In coordination with the Minem (Ministry of Energy and Mines) we are assigning S/491 million, which would imply around 110,000 additional homes that would have natural gas service in their homes,” Contreras stated.

Added to this measure is the strengthening of common pots for S/100 million, as well as an extraordinary subsidy for users of the Juntos, Pensión 65 and Contigo programs, who will exceptionally receive an additional S/200, S/250 and S/300, respectively.

Aid to social programs will have a fiscal cost of S/400 million and will benefit 669,035 households in the Juntos program, 627,924 users of the Pensión 65 program, and 106,628 users of the Contigo program.
