Marco Alonso Enciso Hoyos is the new general director of the General Directorate of Livestock Development of the Vice Ministry of Development of Family Agriculture and Agrarian Infrastructure and Irrigation of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri).
Ministerial Resolution No. 0592-2022-MIDAGRI also includes the resignation of Mr. Guillermo Ambrocio Aguado Quispe, thanking him for the services rendered. He spent less than three months in the Livestock office.
Marco Alonso Enciso Hoyos served until last October as General Director of Forestry and Wildlife Policy and Competitiveness of the National Forestry and Wildlife Service (Serfor).
According to his online profile, he is a Doctor of Science from the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2014), a Master’s in Zoology with a mention in Ecology and Conservation from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (2010), and a veterinarian by training. (UNMSM – 2007), certified by the Management Development Program (in Public Management), of the National School of Public Administration-ENAP of the National Civil Service Authority-SERVIR (PDG 2017-2019).
He has taught at various public and private universities (UPCH, UCSUR, UNMSM, UNPRG), and has experience in research in veterinary medicine, zoology and conservation, administration and public management in the Peruvian State, and management and public policies related to biodiversity.
