The Congressional Economic Commission approved an opinion that includes various initiatives that seek to modify the pensions received by members of the National Pension System (SNP).
“It is intended to correct (law 31301) so that they have access to fairer pensions according to their effort and contributions,” said congresswoman Rosangella Barbarán (Popular Force), president of said working group.
Thus, the initiative increases pension coverage and It intends to benefit 740,000 members of the ONP, according to the parliamentarian, since “those who prove to contribute 14 years receive the same as those with 10 years”, and “so also for those who contribute between 15 and 19 years”.
Pensions for those who contribute just 3 years
Those affiliates who contribute between five and 10 years, would receive no less than S/ 150 each month of the year. And citizens who contribute between three and five, S/ 100, considering one of the projects (PL 2120/2021-CR).
And, for those who contribute from 10 years, the pension would be S/ 250 for 12 months; S/ 275, for those 11 years old; S/ 300, for those under 12; S/ 325, for those under 13; and so on, until those who contribute for 19 years access S/ 475 per month (PL 1126/2021-CR).
The regulations specify that those who already receive with the law 31301, will be able to readjust the amount that they will have to receive with this new staggered criterion.
