To be able to use it, all users of this voice payment card have to do is install an application on their mobile phone, which is exclusively associated with their card. Once installed, each time they make a payment, the application vocalizes the amount of the transaction before the user validates it with their secret code.
Thales voice payment card works as a connected device that retrieves the amount from the POS terminal and communicates it to the mobile application via Bluetooth. The customer can then listen to the information through the phone’s speaker or headset. This singular solution will soon be commercialized in several banks, which are convinced of its usefulness.
