Specifically, the three rough assembly shifts and the afternoon and night final assembly and painting shifts will be suspended. In addition, the activity will be deactivated this Saturday in assembly, painting and rough assemblywith the possibility of activating next Saturday, the 10th.

The management of the company has communicated this decision to the trade union representatives and to the entire staff of the company, the largest in the Basque Country with close to 5,000 direct workers.

The previous days of strike in Bizkaia already caused the stoppage of the activity of the Mercedes plant on October 29 last.
