The head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Kurt Burneopointed out that the end of labor outsourcing in essential activities of a company — promoted by the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) through Supreme Decree 001-2022-TR — has not had the expected result, and therefore , is unsustainable.

“The results of the measure were not what the MTPE thought at the time, so if there are no results, it can hardly be sustainable,” he said at a press conference.

Likewise, Burneo Farfán acknowledged that if Congress decides to cancel the regulation of labor outsourcing, it would not oppose it since it has not worked.

What happens with labor outsourcing?

Supreme Decree 001-2022-TR stops labor outsourcing in essential activities alleging that the worker subjected to this condition is unprotected since, despite performing the same tasks as one of the main company, he does not receive the same benefits or salary.

However, from the business sector and the Chamber Specialized in Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers of the Indecopithis regulation is seen as an unconstitutional act.
