In the same week that the indicator that measures the manufacturing sector has gone negative, the industrial production index continues to provide positive data in June.
As confirmed by the National Statistics Institute (INE)industrial production has grown considerably in the Basque Autonomous Community, while in Navarra this growth has been more modest, and the level of business confidence has fallen.
In the case of Basque Autonomous Communitythe INE has calculated a growth of 12.2%two points higher than the one advanced by EUSTAT two days ago.
In Navarreindustrial production has grown by 0.8% compared to June of last year, becoming one of the lowest figures in the State. On the other hand, the accumulated growth since the beginning of the year is 4.7% in the Comunidad Foral. With this, NASTAT has also published another significant piece of information: the level of business confidence has dropped in June.
The data is also positive at the state level: industrial production has risen 6.4% in June, compared to the same month last year.
