The president was asked on Tuesday whether the money will be paid to Poland. Last week, finance ministers from 27 countries approved the Polish KPO, but before the disbursement of funds, it is also necessary to meet the so-called milestones by Poland, and these concern, inter alia, the judiciary.

National Reconstruction Plan for Poland approved. When will the money flow?
Let us recall that the European Commission accepted the Polish National Reconstruction Plan on June 1 – after more than a year of negotiations. As part of the KPO, 23.9 billion euros in subsidies and 11.5 billion euros in cheap loans are to flow to Poland.
When the money flows depends on the so-called milestones, i.e. conditions that must be met by Poland. It goes, among others for the liquidation of the Disciplinary Chamber (established contrary to the provisions in force in Poland), the reform of the disciplinary system for judges and the return to adjudication of judges already dismissed by the ID.
