The map is based on data collected in the CIA World Factbook.

The MoveHub site, which offers the international moving service, has produced a map with the second most widely spoken languages in each country. For the study, data was collected from the CIA World Factbook.

Those of the CIA World Factbook reveal the second language most spoken by people in their daily lives. In the case of Spain, and always according to updated CIA data, 74% of the people speak Spanish, but there is 17% who speak Catalan. The map allows you to take a look at some fascinating facts about ethnicities and populations comparable to what we once saw in this spectacular tree of languages that connects the origins of each language.

The second most widely spoken language in Spain is Catalan; in the UK it is Polish; and in Germany, the Turk.

Another important detail is that the colors on the map refer to the ethnic origin of the most widely spoken secondary language in each country, a fact that is a bit distracting visually, but which allows us to connect the origin of those languages.
