Biden withdraws his candidate for the Fed due to lack of support in the Senate

The president of the United States, Joe Biden, withdrew on Tuesday the nomination of his candidate for the board of governors of the Federal Reserve (Fed), Sarah Bloom Raskin, as he did not have enough support in the Senate for his confirmation to go ahead.
