She is Amelia, the girl who sings the theme of “Frozen”: This is how she sang “Let It Go” in the bunker in Ukraine without losing her dream of being a singer

Amelia is a little Ukrainian girl, who sang the famous song from the movie “Frozen”, Let It Go, in her native language, as a way of cheering up a group of refugees escaping from the war, and managed to star in one of those moments of deep nostalgia, which went viral on the internet.

When war encompasses a country, sensitivity is on the surface and, despite so much tragedy in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, there are also moments that make us cry for the gratitude of being alive and united in solidarity.

Martha Smekhovaone of the refugees, was the one who first shared the video on the social network Facebook, since she was authorized by Amelia’s mother to make public the moment that brought more than one to tears.

As reported by the ABC media, Martha Smekhova said that Amelia, in addition, is a kind and very talkative girl, whose biggest dream is to sing on a big stage.

In the video you can see how the little girl sweetly and lively sings the song, which despite singing in a different language, has a melody known worldwide.

Those present not only recorded it, but also stood up to applaud Amelia’s initiative and many of them wept with emotion.

Amelia’s video went viral on social media

The clip went so viral that it reached Idina Menzel, the actress and singer who originally performed the hit “Let It Go” for the Disney original movie “Frozen.”

Idina responded through her official Twitter profile, with a message for the girl where she said: “We see you. Really, really, we see you” (We see you. We really, really see you), accompanied by two hearts, blue and yellow, that reflect the Ukrainian flag.

The moment undoubtedly became one of the most sensitive since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, which has so far displaced millions of people from their homes in search of a safe haven. (I)
