“The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry strongly condemns the shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation of the premises of foreign diplomatic missions in Ukraine,” Ukrainian diplomacy said in a statement.
I explain that, as a result of the missile bombardment by the Russian Army in Mariupol, the building that houses the Consulate General of Greece and the office of the Special Monitoring Mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) were damaged.

“Russia’s armed attack on the premises of diplomatic missions is a serious violation of international humanitarian law and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations”, he said.
“We call on the international community to condemn Russia for the barbaric bombing of civilian objects in Ukraine, which kills and injures civilians, including children”, Ukrainian diplomacy noted.
He assured that he will add the facts of the destruction of the facilities of foreign diplomatic missions in the territory of Ukraine to the trials against Russia in the international courts. (I)
