More than two million Ukrainian refugees have left the country since the start of the war in Ukraine 13 days ago, as reported by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). This is the fastest exodus in Europe since the Second World War.

“Today, the flow of refugees from Ukraine reaches two million people. Two million,” emphasized the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Filippo Grandi, on his Twitter account.

Only to Poland More than a million people have already crossed the border from Ukraine, although the flow is just as constant towards Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova.

UNHCR has also found that tens of thousands of people have arrived on Russian territory, although in this case the figures are not so clear. Russian authorities have assured that 173,000 people have been evacuated from Donbas, according to the TASS news agency.
