“All parliamentarians want to hear directly from the president, who will address us live from Ukraine. This is an important opportunity for this House,” said Speaker of the Commons Lindsay Hoyle.
Zelenski’s intervention, which will not receive questions from the deputies, will be a “historic” occasion, added Hoyle, who thanked the “incredible” work of Parliament employees to make it possible.
