The Russian government is willing to stop the invasion “immediately” if Ukraine yields to their demands. The Kremlin wants them to cede Crimea and recognize the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk.
This was stated, according to the Reuters agency, by the Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, 12 days after the start of the invasion. “This can stop at any time,” he said about it.
Some demands that have been made before the meeting held today, the third round of negotiations since the war in Ukraine began. This Thursday, March 10, they will face a new meeting.
They also demand that Ukraine amend its Constitution to renounce their membership in “any bloc” and that they “abandon military actions”.
