The mother of a Ukrainian minor has tearfully appealed to the international community to save the country’s children and give them a safe haven. Her 11-year-old son has come to Slovakia alone, with her mother’s phone number written in her hand.
That was his hope to save himself from the war. According to the child’s mother, she sent him alone on a train to the Slovak border when she saw the bombing at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, a few kilometers from his home.
“I want to express my sincere gratitude to all Slovak customs officers and to the volunteers in Slovakia who took care of my son and they helped him cross the border on his own“, has spread in a video in which the woman can not hold the tears.
As she explained, she couldn’t go with the little one because she has to take care of her mother: “She can’t move independently. So I sent my son alone on a train to the Slovakian border“, has indicated visibly moved.
