The Russian Armed Forces have reported humanitarian corridors starting at 08:00 (Basque time) for humanitarian purposes in those cities.
At twelfth day since the start of the war in Ukrainethe Russian Armed Forces have announced that they will open humanitarian corridors from 08:00 a.m. (time in Euskal Herria) in the cities of Kiev, Mariupol, Kharkov and Sumi, as reported by the Russian armed forces themselves to the Red Cross, the OSCE and the UN, as reported by Russian agencies.
“Given the catastrophic humanitarian situation and its strong aggravation in the cities of Kiev, Kharkiv, Sumi and Mariupol,” says the statement from the armed forces, “the Armed Forces for humanitarian purposes from 10:00 a.m. (Moscow time) on March 7, 2022 announce a ‘regime of silence’ and open humanitarian corridors”.
According to the Russian armed forces, a corridor will be opened from Kyivwhich will pass through the cities of Gostomel, will reach Chernobyl and the Belarusian town of Gden (Belarus), Gomel, also in Belarus.
From Mariupol, the exit will be made in two ways. The first route is from Mariupol to Rostov (Russia). The second would go from Mariúpol to Mangush, in the Donetsk basin.
the path of Kharkiv would reach Belgorod (Russia), while from sumi Two routes would leave: the first to Belgorod (Russia) and the second to Poltava (Ukraine).
