Unarmed civilians have taken to the streets and stood in front of Russian military vehicles to stop them Kherson, one of the cities conquered by Putin’s troops. The soldiers’ shots have failed to scare them. Even a civilian has lain down on the ground in front of one of the vehicles risking his life, as you can see in the video.
The vehicle has tried to move forward, but finally the citizens have managed to stop it. The protesters have even managed gain control of an armored carsomething they have celebrated by waving the ukrainian flag. Valentina Maganova, a civilian, has made it clear that they are not scared and has asked for help: “Please help us; Kherson is Ukraine.”
Furthermore, in Liberty Square, the heart of a city bombed this week, hundreds of people have risen up against the Russians. And in Bilokurakyne, another of the occupied cities, hundreds of people have also taken to the streets this Saturday without caring about the snow or the cold.
Along the same lines, in Novopskov, totally unarmed civilians they have faced soldiers shouting the name of their country in the rain. They have also done it in Melitopol, where Russian soldiers have retreated, brandishing their missiles before a civilian who has confronted them.
The massive demonstrations by civilians show that Russia will have a very difficult time controlling Ukraine despite his military advances.
