The first quarter of 2022 is not yet over and the United States Government reported that they have already received the limit of H-1B visa applications, which applies to qualified foreign workers who want to work in the North American country. The information was released by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), through a statement.
According to the Vive Usa portal, the H-1B work visa application limit is 65,000 visas and 20,000 visas are for the postgraduate exemption, also known as the master’s limit amount.
In the statement, the authorities stated: “We have completed the sending of the notifications of non-selection to the online accounts of the registrants. The status of properly filed records for the numerical distribution of FY 2022 H-1B visas that were not selected will now display the message: Not Eligible.”
