Putin insists that “Ukraine and Russia are the same people” and assures that he will end the “Russophobia created by the West”

The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has met his Security Council to report on the status of the invasion operation that began last Thursday in Ukraine, as well as to indicate, from his perspective, the reasons why he does not cease its offensive against Ukrainian territory. In this meeting, Putin assured that the Russian Army has already launched humanitarian corridors so civilians can flee and take refuge from the constant attacks that have been taking place for a week.

However, he has indicated that it is the Ukrainian nationalists who are blocking these humanitarian corridors and even using civilians as shields. “Our military offers corridors in all directionsThey offer transport so that foreign civilians can leave the country and go to a safe place. But I insist, the nationalists do not allow it. They abandon their citizens. However, neo-Nazis also use foreigners as a human shield,” she said.

In this regard, he has put on record his intention to “destroy” Ukraine’s threats; among them, the nuclear weapons that he says he wants this country. He has also assured that he will end the “Western-created Russophobia”.

Finally, he declared that “Ukraine and Russia are one people”, words that confirm what was confirmed hours before by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, who warned after his meeting with the Russian leader that “The worst is yet to come”. In that meeting with his Security Council, Putin described the intervention of the Russian Army in Ukraine as “successful”, and that his military are an example of heroism in sacrificing their lives for this cause.

“The soldiers are fighting bravely, they understand the reasons. Once wounded they continue fighting, they sacrifice their lives to save their comrades and the civilian population during battles. Our soldiers show themselves to be true heroes,” said the head of the Russian nation, assuring once again that its troops fight against “Nazis who torture prisoners”.

For this reason, as announced, it will provide compensation both for the families of the soldiers who have died in combat, and for those who have been injured in this war that does not seem to have, for the moment, an end. In fact, another of the prominent phrases of the Russian president at that meeting is that the “military operation” in Ukraine is going as he planned. All in a war where deaths are already in the thousands and there are already more than a million people exiled by the conflict.
